Lidl Starts Selling Rooster Meat from Laying Hens

Lidl will be the very first supermarket to start selling rooster meat from laying hens. Usually these roosters would be gassed as soon as they were hatched, because they’re bred to lay eggs. Since roosters don’t lay eggs they’re considered useless and too expensive to keep. Lidl is putting this to a stop by keeping them alive for consumption.
